Benchmade Custom Shop Launches Configurator for the Mini Bugout

Benchmade has expanded its Custom Shop program to include the Mini Bugout, one of the brand's most popular EDC platforms. The configurator allows customers to mix and match blade steels, handle materials, pocket clips, and hardware colors.

Blade steel choices include CPM-S30V (standard), CPM-MagnaCut (premium), and CPM-CruWear (for maximum toughness). Handle scales come in a wide range of colors, from classic OD green to vibrant options like cobalt blue and blaze orange. Hardware can be anodized in contrasting colors.

The Mini Bugout starts at $180, with the Custom Shop version commanding a premium depending on options. MagnaCut adds roughly $40, while colored hardware packages add $15-$25. At just 1.5 ounces with a 2.8-inch blade, the Mini Bugout is one of the best lightweight EDC knives on the market.
