Knafs Lander 7: The Final Lander Is the Biggest Yet, and It Is Crushing Kickstarter

Every product line eventually gets its farewell tour, and Knafs is throwing one for its most recognizable silhouette. The Lander 7 is the seventh — and officially final — entry in the series that put the brand on the map, and Knafs is going out with the biggest Lander ever made. It is also, by the numbers, the most successful launch the line has seen.

Size is the story the title tells. The Lander 7 stretches to 8.6 inches overall, more than an inch longer than the Lander 2, the previous largest. The beefy 3.75-inch drop-point blade is 14C28N — the Sandvik stainless Knafs adopted as its house steel — delivering the balance of toughness, corrosion resistance, and easy sharpening that made the Lander a budget favorite. That size is a direct response to community feedback; as Knafs puts it, one piece of recurring input kept showing up in inboxes, comments, and DMs: "Make it bigger."

The deployment options cover every preference: a flipper tab for one-handed speed, plus thumb studs for those who prefer a Spydie-style flick. Three blade finishes are available, and opposite the blade sits the familiar ergonomic Lander handle, offered in black or blue G-10 or Micarta. True to the brand's identity, the scales are quick-swappable, so owners can change the knife's look without tools.

The hardware does not skimp: stainless steel liners, a sturdy liner lock, a reversible deep-carry pocket clip, barrel spacers, and black hardware throughout. For a knife starting at $80, the spec sheet reads closer to folders twice the price — which has been the Lander's whole argument since 2022, when the original turned a garage project into a real brand.

The Lander 7 is live on Kickstarter now and has already trounced its $10,000 goal more than fivefold, with weeks still to run. Fans who want to own the last Lander — and collectors who know a finale when they see one — have a clear window to get in before the silhouette closes for good.
