Microtech Releases Limited Edition Ultratech with Bayonet Style Partial Serrations
Microtech Knives has released a limited edition batch of their iconic Ultratech OTF featuring a bayonet-style blade with partial serrations on the spine. This configuration, rarely seen in recent production, pays homage to classic military bayonet design while bringing the legendary Ultratech action that has made Microtech a household name in the automatic knife world.
The 3.4-inch M390 steel blade features a distinctive bayonet grind โ a true spear point with a pronounced swedge and a partial serrated section on the cutting edge near the handle for cutting rope, webbing, and other tough materials. M390 is a premium powder metallurgy steel known for excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance, heat-treated to Microtech's exacting 60-61 HRC specification.
The aluminum handle features the classic Ultratech triple-row grip texture and is available in apocalyptic (distressed) finish or tactical black. The dual-action out-the-front mechanism is as smooth and reliable as ever, with positive lockup and satisfying deployment every time. The glass breaker tip adds emergency utility.
Limited to 500 units globally, this is a collector-grade piece that will likely sell out quickly. Priced at $358 MSRP through Microtech dealers.
