RovyVon's E10 Pro Adds a Green Laser to a 1,600-Lumen Light
Most EDC flashlights solve one problem: making light. The RovyVon E10 Pro solves five, and charges $129.95 for the trouble. Inside a flat aluminum body it packs a 1,600-lumen main beam, a green laser, UV and red sidelights, and an OLED display, plus a mechanical scroll wheel for brightness, a replaceable battery and a magnetic tailcap.
The white light is the part that matters most days. RovyVon rates the dual-LED main beam at up to 1,600 lumens and sells 7000K cool-white and 5700K versions, so the first thing to check before ordering is which emitter you are buying. The company's campaign material lists a 110-meter maximum throw for the high-CRI version, which is honest for a light this size — enough to see across a yard, not enough to search a field.
The scroll wheel is a genuine design choice rather than a gimmick. Instead of cycling through discrete modes with a tail switch, you roll the wheel to the output you want, which is faster with cold hands and avoids the mode-jumping that plagues multi-mode lights. The OLED display tells you the charge state without a guessing game, and the replaceable cell means the light is not landfill when the battery ages.
Where it competes is against dedicated lights at the same money. A streamlight or a Fenix at $130 will out-throw and out-run the E10 Pro, with simpler controls and better water ratings. What the RovyVon offers instead is breadth: a green laser for pointing, UV for leak detection and curing, red for preserving night vision, and a magnetic base for hands-free work under a hood.
Verdict: buy it if you want one pocket device that covers inspection, pointing and general illumination, and you will actually use the laser and UV. Skip it if you need a flashlight for emergencies only, because a $30 single-mode light will be more reliable and easier to live with.
