Vosteed Lists a $145 Porcupine TiSlim and a $73 Corgi V as Coming Soon
Vosteed's pre-order slate got two additions at the end of September, and between them they show the brand's two price philosophies. The Porcupine TiSlim now has a 154CM tier at $145, while the Corgi V returns with a 2.36-inch 14C28N blade and G10 handles at $73. Both are listed as coming soon.
The Porcupine TiSlim is the more interesting listing. It keeps the 3.04-inch blade and Top Liner Lock of the existing TiSlim, but the $145 version runs 154CM rather than S90V. The S90V SKUs sit above it at $179 and $189. That gives buyers a real choice: pay about $35 less, give up some wear resistance, and get a steel that is noticeably easier to sharpen at home. For a knife that will mostly open boxes and cut tape, 154CM is the more forgiving option.
The Corgi V is the value entry. A 2.36-inch 14C28N blade in a G10 handle at $73 puts it in the same conversation as the brand's Porcupine and Raccoon budget lines, and the Vanchor Lock is Vosteed's own ambidextrous mechanism rather than a licensed crossbar design.
Taken together with the $145.99 Raccoon TiSlim that is already in stock, Vosteed now covers roughly $70 to $220 in titanium-and-steel framelocks. The gap between the Corgi V and the TiSlim models is mostly materials and size, not mechanism.
None of the three new listings can be bought yet. If you want the 154CM Porcupine, the pre-order window is the time to decide whether the S90V markup is worth it.
There is also a timing detail worth noting for international buyers. Vosteed's site currently warns that non-US orders are expected to ship after October 6, which applies to the coming-soon listings as much as to in-stock items. Anyone outside the United States should expect a slightly longer wait and should factor that into a decision made now rather than in November. The pre-order pricing itself is unlikely to change once the knives are released.
