Vosteed's Raccoon TiSlim Gets a Halloween Munch

VosteedOctober 29, 2026Source: Vosteed

Seasonal knives are usually a colorway and a sticker. Vosteed's Raccoon TiSlim Halloween edition is a 450-piece numbered run with a character called Munch Munch anodized across the handle, and it is the rare holiday knife that is still a good tool underneath.

The A4516: 0.315-inch thin Grade 5 titanium handle, blue-to-purple anodized with the Munch Munch artwork plus ghosts, stars and spiderwebs, 3.18-inch black-stonewashed 154CM drop point, crossbar lock, dual thumb studs, colored thumb stud ring, $145.99, limited to 450 pieces numbered 001 to 450, shipped with a character card, two stickers and a matching cleaning cloth.

Underneath the artwork it is the same TiSlim platform Vosteed built the Porcupine and Raccoon on: a 0.315-inch frame, a stainless liner integrated into a CNC-machined titanium handle, an aluminum backspacer doing structural work, and a crossbar lock that makes the knife ambidextrous and safe to close one-handed. That is what makes this more than merchandise. The art is printed or anodized on a knife that would be worth carrying plain.

154CM at 3.18 inches is a deliberate step down from the S90V in the Porcupine TiSlim, and it is the right step for a knife at $145.99 instead of $189. 154CM holds an edge well, sharpens fast, resists corrosion and does not demand diamond stones. On a knife that is going to be carried in October and shown to people, being easy to maintain matters more than maximum wear resistance.

The obvious risk with a 450-piece run is that it becomes a shelf knife. That would be a shame, because 3.18 inches of 154CM with a crossbar lock in a 0.315-inch titanium frame is a genuinely good daily carry, and the thin frame is the part you notice every day while the artwork is the part you notice for a week.

Compared with the plain Raccoon TiSlim at the same $145.99 tier, you are paying the same money for the artwork and the numbering, which is a fair trade if you like the character. Compared with the Porcupine TiSlim A4815 at $189, you save forty-three dollars and give up S90V. Compared with a $145 Benchmade, you get titanium and a better lock layout for the same money.

Verdict: buy it if you want a Halloween knife you will actually carry and you like the Munch Munch artwork enough to look at it every day. Skip it if you want resale value, because 450 pieces of licensed-looking art is a collector market, not an investment.
